This process of international cooperation implementing can be led by private international companies with significant successful experience in shipbuilding and ship repair. Nowadays Russia should pay special attention for innovative technologies introduction for building of conventional and Arctic river-sea gas tankers with a volume of 7,000-8,000 cubic meters of transported gases, as well as ocean gas carriers 150,000 – 170,000 cubic meters of LNG. This will enable not only to export of LNG from the regions of the Russian Arctic, but also do it for LPG supplies from a number of refineries on the Volga River, with transshipment from river-sea vessels to ocean-going gas carriers in the Kerch Channel.
Russia can provide such multi-modal export shipments of various liquefied gases in cooperation with Turkmenistan, which ranks is 4th in the world in terms of explored gas reserves, and which is actively introducing innovative technologies in the oil and gas industry and other branches of its national economy.
